Wanderlust: My Travel Stories
Traveling opens our minds and hearts and helps you see things in an entirely different way. Join me as I recount my adventures in different countries and cultures.
Top Travel Tips
- Plan ahead but stay flexible – plan several big items on your trip and keep your eyes open for those little bunny trails that you might overlook. Don’t be so rigid on you plan that changes derail or ruin your entire trip.
- Immerse yourself in local culture – don’t be a tourist. Go find out where the locals go, avoid the annoying tourists and dive headlong into the culture and the people.
- Document your journey – take 10,000 pictures for those 30 or so you will actually save. Keep track of where you stay, places you went, foods you ate, the price of things, difficulties and share them for others to be informed by.
- Have fun – this goes along with the first point, don’t forget to have fun while you travel and don’t overload yourself with having every second of every day fully booked with no time between destinations that you stress yourself out because you “missed a deadline.” You’re not at work, let go.
